Chris Do Co-Founder, BlindLA @thechrisdo Chris Do is a graduate of Art Center College of Design, Pasadena and is the founder and CEO of Blind– a strategic design agency in Santa Monica. Since 1995, Blind has been a pioneer in the motion graphics field and has made hundreds of award-winning commercials, music videos and broadcast promos that combine design, typography, animation, live action and visual effects for clients of all sizes. Currently, he is an adjunct instructor at Art Center College of Design in the Motion Design program. He serves on the board of directors for SPJA, executive committee for the Emmy’s M+TD Peer Group, and completed his term as advisory board member and programming chair for AIGA/LA. Mr. Do has lectured nationally and internationally at schools and organizations such as: Art Center, Cal Arts, Otis, Cal State (LA, Northridge, Dominguez Hills), San Diego University, TypeCon, Siggraph, SMC, SDC, AIGA: Hecho en LA & Blueprint and Beijing Academy of Fine Art. Recently, he has judged for PromaxBDA, AICP and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. His firm’s work has been recognized by national and international organizations such as: the Emmy’s, Communication Arts, London International Awards, One Show, British D&AD, AICP, Pictoplamsa, How, 72 dpi, L.A. Weekly, Boards, Res 10, Type Director’s Club, IDN, Addy Awards, BDA, Create, Stash, AIGA, Art Director’s Club, New York Festivals, I.D., and Print.
